Countervirus is a cooperative strategy board game for 2-4 players. It is set in the distant future, where humans have colonized the galaxy. Every planet is connected to each other through the Galactic Net, which is currently being hijacked by an artificial lifeform that is spreading deeper and getting smarter. Your goal is to eliminate the A.I. by delivering the Countervirus to a weak spot in the Galactic Net before it spreads too far or becomes too intelligent.
The players will work together to make space travel possible by building wormholes for each other. They will travel across the galaxy surveying planets in search for ideal sites to deploy 3 trilateration beacons. Once these are in place, they will reveal the location of a weak spot in the galactic net, where you must deliver the Countervirus to win the game. A well-coordinated effort to remove virus replicas from infected planets will be critical in keeping the AI at bay while you carry out your mission.
